In 2019 the UK recorded the highest number of deaths from ecstasy since records began and research suggests that women are more at risk than men. We spoke with young women about their experiences with drug taking to co-create ideas and concepts that might help prevent these deaths. HighWise, is a pilot study for a campaign and awareness kit that provides non-judgemental information and support to female drug users. The majority of the women we spoke to thought this kind of kit might change the way they act on a night out.
